"Wind Between Two Cities”, features two looping ten minute videos placed adjacent to one another. Various strands of visual and auditory content intertwine and cut back and forth across the two screens. This piece is a meditation on a personal struggle to identify with aging and death, where interwoven audio and imagery rupture narrative expectations. Exaggerated simulations of wind, performative self-representation and confessional dialogue were used to emphasize the desire to close the distance between the generations of women in my family despite the cities and circumstances that separated us.
