My video work is an exercise in strategies to interrupt the formal constraints of narrative. I emphasize the temporal quality of the extended moment by making stilled videos that resemble photographs and I seek to exaggerate rudiments of time through slow meditations on subtle movements. For instance, the endurance of the subject is revealed when movements in the stilled image appear, emphasizing the frustration of the photographic moment.
